We had the honor of hosting one of our esteemed alumni, Dr. Mukund Rao, a graduated student from the class of 2012. Dr. Rao, an accomplished Ecologist and Carbon Cycle Scientist, shared his enriched experience in the field during an insightful event organized in collaboration with Student Energy. Notably, Dr. Mukund expanded the scope of his discussion to include his research on determining the age of trees and exploring the average global temperature. This added dimension provided a more holistic understanding of the environmental challenges we face. He expounded on historical shifts in climate, shedding light on the causes and consequences of climate change. His informative session also addressed the question of responsibility in tackling climate issues. In summary, Dr. Mukund Rao's presentation was a valuable contribution to our collective understanding of climate science.
